City of Newcastle Parks
The City of Newcastle maintains ten city parks for public use which are maintained and operated by the public works department:Centennial Park (with new playground facilities and a Memorial Tree Lane)
Dow Park on Main Street (with playground facilities, basketball courts and large grassy areas)
Girl Scout Park near downtown (with benches and viewing opportunities)
Railroad Park near downtown (with picnic facilities)
Roby Park in the Saddle Subdivision
Upper Main Street Park (sits at the top of Main Street with a great view of downtown)
Washington Park off Washington Blvd (with skate park facilities)
Bill Kohlbrand Arboretum (adjacent to Stampede Street)
OC Kearney Ballfields (baseball and softball complex)
Soccer Fields (adjacent to ballfields)
